Assisting Hands Home Care® grew out of a desire to provide seniors, and others needing non-medical assistance at home, with the option that most people prefer – to remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes. Assisting Hands® is a home care franchise company that emphasizes exceptional customer service and highly personalized in-home care to meet the needs of our clients. Read & VaNae Flake, RN, started Assisting Hands – Pearland as a family business to help seniors and others in their community. VaNae has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and particularly enjoys working in the geriatric field. Having helped care for her own grandparents, she knew that she could offer relief and comfort to the aged members of her community and support for their family members. After a successful career with several Fortune 500 firms, Read wanted to reach out and touch lives in a way that his work in other companies never could. His business experience has helped him to build a strong company that provides high-quality service focused on the client’s needs. Read and VaNae are the parents of six children and are dedicated to providing a trusted home care service to bless the lives of individuals and families in their community.
