Starlight was brought to our attention as an agency to hire aides for seniors. We had low expectations and were wary of having someone care for our father and be a part of our household. Low and behold, CK arrived-aide extraordinaire! We had been told we were being sent a great aide that just happened to have finished up a long term aiding job and our timing was right. We thought they said this about everyone. CK is a short man in his 70's-and he was a powerhouse of strength body, mind and spirit. He knew exactly what to do to aide in my father's needs, he did so with empathy, and professionalism and true care. He gave my father the respect and dignity he deserved. CK worked mostly overnights and did so with no complaint, no tiredness, and complete and utter loyalty til the end. He was so trustworthy and consistent we were able to get sleep at night knowing our father was in the best of the best of hands. It was a miracle to have someone like CK and we know we were blessed. Thank you Starlight for being a great agency, for being choosy about who you hire and being so easy and compassionate to work with. We will never forget CK or Starlight.

Starlight CareGivers has given excellent care to my two elderly parents as they've aged and become more dependent. They started off with Starlight part time several times a week, and we now rely on them for 24/7 care. As my parents' needs have progressed they've gone out of their way to find the best fit, resulting in caregivers my parents are happy and comfortable with. They have reliably provided my parents with light housekeeping, personal hygiene care, meal preparation and feeding, and are always on top of my dad's incontinence issues. When my mom fell recently in the middle of the night, Starlight was able to find a caregiver for my dad so that the primary caregiver could take my mom to the hospital. I have engaged StarLight CareGivers twice to take care of my aging parents. The 1st time was for in-home help as my parents were still living by themselves. The 2nd time, which was in late 2021/early 2022, StarLight provided round the clock assistive care as my father transitioned from nursing home back to his apartment. The care team was caring and kept good records of daily routines and transmitted the info to my sister and I daily. The care period was during the Covid Delta surge where mom and dad's senior home had very strict antigen test requirements for outsiders. There were good communications between the care team and my sister and I, and they jumped through the hoops to find appropriate caregivers when dad contracted Covid at the senior home. StarLight made sure there were no coverage disruptions. My father has Alzheimer's and was not used to care givers other than mom. The caregivers from StarLight were patient and resourceful and was able to handle dad and provided the care he needed. I couldn't say enough good things about StarLight.
