How We started Home Care Assistance We came to learn about the challenges families face when caring for an elderly loved one after Matt's wonderful great aunt was clinically diagnosed with long-term dementia at the age of 74. The struggles of dealing with hospitalizations, doctor’s appointments, managing medications, and coordinating medical needs and care left our family confused, frustrated and extremely overwhelmed. Seeing our family struggle during that difficult period helped us realize that caring for an aging family member is a full time job and cannot be done alone. This is where our call for making a difference in the transitions of elder people came in, and this inspired us to open our own Home Care Assistance location right here in Pembroke Pines.Thankfully, with the right intervention at a critical time, both Matt's aunt and parents are living and enjoying life again just like before. His great aunt enjoys gardening, sewing, crosswords puzzles and her favorite pastime - watching bird feeders at the family farm. You don’t have to do it alone. We are here to help.
