Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, under the direct supervision of a physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. Responsibilities: - Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations -Perform medical work in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients in the Nephrology clinic and chronic dialysis unit. - Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team - Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures - Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options - Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using EMR. Requirements: - Valid Nurse Practitioner license, DEA licenses in the State of California - Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program - CPR with AED certificate is required -Minimum of one year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner preferred - Proficient in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation -Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as [list any specific benefits offered].
