Caregiver Job Description
Looking for a Live-out or Live-in Caregiver. This is a job for an Elderly Care Home. Responsibilities/Duties/Qualifications: All caregiving duties as well as management/administrative duties (assisting in bathing, transferring residents, cooking, feeding, housekeeping, shopping, managing administrative work, medication management, interaction with resident's families, managing doctors' orders, managing employees, and doing activities with residents). Need to pass a background check (fingerprint), Certified CPR/1st Aid, Health Screening with TB skin test or chest x-ray, N95 mask fitting. Ideally, 1 year of experience in the caregiving field but No experience necessary (we will train) Able to lift up to 75 lbs. Management experience is a plus. Basic communication skills required. Tagalog is a plus, but not required. Along with great care, very important is a good attitude, caring/compassion and be able to make clients smile. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of every resident by providing direct care to residents while promoting the resident’s highest level of functioning. You will also assist in maintaining the resident’s environment in a safe and neat manner within facility standards and State and Federal Regulations.
