We are urgently looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist a hospice patient in Peotone, IL. This is a part-time position for 25 hours/week, with consistent weekly scheduling.
📝 Responsibilities Include:
(Based on patient’s ADL/IADL needs)
Personal Care
• Assistance with eating
• Sponge baths
• Grooming
• Dressing
• Transferring (wheelchair use, patient is bedridden/weak)
• Continence care (pads used)
Household & Routine Support
• Meal preparation
• Laundry
• Housekeeping
• Routine health needs (medications/health support as directed)
• Special health needs (cerebral palsy; specific care instructions provided)
Other Assistance
• Help with mobility inside and outside the home
• Monitoring patient when alone
• Communication assistance (patient unable to speak)

• Bedridden and weak

• Requires close monitoring

• Needs staff to provide routine medications & health support
