Position: Homemaker / Home Support Worker Schedule: 4 hours per day, 7 days per week (28 hours per week) Location: Crete, IL 60417 Rate: $20/hour Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Homemaker to provide daily support services for an elderly individual in their home. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and comfortable assisting with routine household tasks that help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment. Responsibilities Daily duties may include, but are not limited to: • Light housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting, tidying, trash removal) • Laundry and linen changes • Meal preparation and kitchen clean-up • Assistance with grooming and personal hygiene reminders (non–hands-on care) • Support with organization, home management, and daily routines • Monitoring for safety and reporting any changes in the client’s condition • Providing companionship and conversation • Assisting with errands as needed (if applicable) Qualifications • Prior experience in homemaker, housekeeping, or caregiving roles preferred • Reliable transportation • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently • Dependable and punctual • Background check may be required Compensation • Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) • Weekly stable schedule How to Apply Please send your name, contact information, and a brief description of your experience to: northlightcareservices@gmail.com
