Caregiver Job Description
Care staff will provide assistance with all aspects of ADL's according to each resident's individualized care plan. This includes but is not limited to: escorts, transfers, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, mobility. Must have Covid vaccine. Upon arrival please check in at Reception, sign in at the kiosk, and proceed to our Wellness office. The Nurse on duty will will explain your assignment, have you sign out a walkie (sometimes keys) and another aide can give you a tour of the building. Name tags printed from the kiosk must be visible at all times. During your shift you should expect to assist the residents on your assignment as detailed and to answer pendants of those residents ringing for assistance. Report to the nursing staff as needed and communicate with other care staff regarding the general well being of the residents. At the conclusion of your shift please return the walkie & keys to the nurse and give report to the oncoming shift. Exit through the main entrance. The State of NH requires a 30 minute unpaid break for every shift exceeding 5 hours. Please coordinate with the nurse and other care staff to plan the timing of this meal break.
