Caregivers Needed in the Santa Monica Area!

Greetings everyone! Visiting Angels - Santa Monica is non-medical caregiving agency aiming to provide quality, in-home care! We are looking for caregivers that are willing to work either part-time OR full-time (with schedules depending on your availability)! Our caregivers provide a variety of care ranging from simple, companionship cases to end-of-life, hospice care. In general, we would expect our caregivers to do the following: bathe clients, dress clients, take clients out for walks, remind clients to take their medications, a bit of light housekeeping, and meal preparation if need be! If you don't feel that you have experience in some of these things, but would be willing to learn more about these skills, then we would be more than happy to help you to learn them! REQUIREMENTS: - Valid work documents complaint with the I-9 Form - A valid Home Care Aides (HCA) Registration -If you don't have one, that isn't a problem! We would help you walk you through the process of acquiring one! - A tuberculosis clearance - Live Scan (Background Clearance) - The COVID-19 Vaccine (single or double dose vaccines) - If you are not vaccinated, our applicants (and caregivers) have until November 30th to be considered fully vaccinated! If you choose not to take it for reasons that do not include religious or medical reasons, we won't be able to accept you as per the Department of Social Services. - (Preferred but not required) Alzheimers/Dementia Experience
