Athena Home Care is looking for CNAs, HCAs and anyone in the process of obtaining their license for full-time and part-time Caregiver positions. We are a small, family-owned business that provides in-home care to developmentally disabled adults & children, as well as assists the elderly with activities of daily living. We pair our Caregivers with clients who will best match their personality, skill-set, and location. Our priority is to pair you with clients that fit your skills and your schedule. All clients are located in Clark County, and there are immediate openings available for both full-time and part-time. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: - Assisting clients with personal care, which may include bathing, shampooing, shaving, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation, and positioning. - Performing household services essential to the client’s safety and care at home, including laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping and medication assistance. - Accompany clients to regularly scheduled medical appointments and do essential shopping. - You will know and comply with the Agency Ethics Policy and our Policy on Conflict of Interest. - Respecting the rights of clients and their families to have different beliefs, opinions, cultures and customs. Job Requirements: We don't require previous experience, although that is always a plus. Candidates must be a CNA or HCA or be registered in a CNA training course--We can hire you before your CNA is active! Candidates must be able to pass a Washington State and FBI background check. Candidates must have transportation to and from client's homes. Candidates must be dependable and have a desire to help support the client's wish to remain as independent as possible.
