Starting wage: $20-$35 an hour Schedule: Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays. Two-hour shifts on evenings. Flexible shifts. Home Care Companion benefits. What you will do as Home Care Companion • Light housekeeping: Do dishes and sweep, do laundry • Feed and refill water for the pet • Clean or change the litterbox • Make bed • Monitor dressing • Monitor in the bath and trim nails. • Walk with the client when ambulatory outside. • Ambulation/transfers • Protective Supervision • Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions • Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments if requested. What we look for in a Home Care Companion • Six months experience as a Caregiver (in homes or facilities) • Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job • Reliable transportation • Reside in Friday Harbor • Gets along with cats • Compassionate • Caring • Reliable • Honest and hard-working • Must live in Friday Harbor or be willing to go by ferry • Enjoys music • Flexibility on shifts Why Right at Home?
