Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description

You don’t have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal!
Must Haves:
High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
Preferred six months experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (in homes or facilities)
Preferred successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course.
Must have a sympathetic attitude
A current CPR Certificate is recommended
Meets the requirements for employees providing direct client care
Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
Have a valid driver’s license and use an insured automobile for work
