What you will do as a Personal Care Assistant: · Assist with bathing/feeding/toileting · Ambulation/transfers · Protective Supervision · Medication Reminders · Light housekeeping activities · Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions · Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments. What we look for in a Personal Care Assistant: Certification: PCA Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in health care (in homes or facilities) Successful completion of a State approved Personal Care Assistant (PCA) course Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation Compassionate Caring Reliable Honest and hard-working Must be able to travel up to 30 minutes or 30 miles for this position Open shifts outside 30 minutes or 30 miles may include a travel allowance Why Right at Home?
