Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Provide residents with daily nursing care in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Provide assistance with activities of daily living. Does a complete check of skin condition when dressing and undressing. Makes occupied and unoccupied beds, changes bed linens and straightens rooms, closets and drawers. Answer call lights promptly, telephone calls as needed. Maintains intake and output records as instructed. Checks and reports bowel movement and character of stools. Obtains blood pressure, temperatures, pulse, respiration and weights as needed. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with an active certification.
