Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Bonita Springs, Estero, Cape Coral, Pine Island/St. James City/Matlacha/Bokeelia, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Alva Job Description: We are searching for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are ready for a satisfying and rewarding career opportunity while meeting the needs of our seniors. Responsibilities: Assist seniors with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and toileting Aid seniors with mobility Medication and fluid reminders Offer light housekeeping and laundry assistance Prepare healthy meals according to doctor or dietitian’s recommendations Run errands and grocery/home shopping Provide companionship and conversation Promote engagement in senior-friendly activities Qualifications: Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields Positive and patient demeanor Ability to build rapport with patients Capability to handle physical workload Excellent written and verbal communication skills Requirements: Driver's License SSN Card CNA License or HHA Certificate (We administer the state HHA competency test and provide in-house training that allows you to work as a Home Health Aide for Home Helpers Home Care) CPR Card ACHA Level 2 Background TB Test/Physical (within the last 6 months) Car Registration/Car Insurance Certificates/CEUs: Alzheimer’s/Dementia HIV/AIDS HIPAA OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Self-Administration of Medications Compensation: Pay is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
