Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the client in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Remind clients take prescribed medication Perform light housekeeping duties Be a pleasant and supportive companion Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Job Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma preferred Licensure: Must have current driver's license, Insurance and own vehicle. Experience: At least one year experience in the last 24 months as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant in a Hospital, nursing home, or home health agency, or completion of Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide Program within the last 24 months. Others: Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance. Job Type: PRN-PART TIME- PRN- Fulltime Job Types: Part-time, PRN Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) Home Health: 1 year (Preferred) Private Duty nursing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CNA CPR Certification : needed $20-$30 PER VISIT depending on experience
