Full Job Description 2,500.00 SIGN ON BONUS Shifts Available 4 days on 2 days off 6AM-2PM 2PM-10PM 10PM-6AM Job Summary: The overall purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is to provide each of the assigned Patients with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the Patient's care plan. Qualifications: · State certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory. · Ability to read, write, and speak the English language. Essential Functions: · Provides and documents personal care to assigned Patients in a manner conducive to the safety Policies and Procedures as well as state/federal guidelines and regulations. · Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for Patients. · Advice supervising charge nurse of Patients' status at beginning and end of shift. · Contribute knowledge of Patients' conditions and documents observations as required. · Promote safe/clean environment. · Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of Patients per established policies and procedures. · Assure that equipment including mobile devices are charged, clean and functional at all times and report any malfunctions to supervisor. · Attend in-service training programs to maintain nursing assistant certification annually. · Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for Patients, visitors and staff. · Attend Patient Care Management Systems weekly in-service and incorporate into the delivery of Patient care. · Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety. · Perform other duties as assigned. Continuing Education: · Attend in-service and educational programs. · Attend continuing education required for maintenance of professional certification. Physical Demands: · Ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing, and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff, patient families, and any outside customers in accordance with the Company’s HIPAA Policy. · The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to utilize a computer, phone, etc. for extended periods of time. · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
