Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
- Assist with the daily care of patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers of patients - Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse - Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care and dressing changes - Provide emotional support to patients and their families - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients - Previous experience working as a nursing assistant or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with airway management, sterile processing, behavioral health, and special needs is a plus - Experience working with children is highly desired - Knowledge of electronic medical record systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks is beneficial - Familiarity with procedures like gastric lavage and durable medical equipment (DME) is an advantage Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not encompass all tasks or responsibilities that may be required.
