Habilitation Training Aide

QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum age: 16 years • Experience working in a healthcare setting desired but not required. • Be a self-starter • Exude a compassionate, positive and friendly attitude while observing resident schedules and preferences. • Must have the physical strength and endurance to perform essential job duties JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assists with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming • Encourages residents in past-time and group activity participation following a program of care. • Assists and participates in resident family-style meals. • Documents and communicates resident cares and behaviors according to policy and procedures and State regulations. • Handles and transports linens, soiled clothing or supplies properly • Helps resident to maintain a safe and clean living area. • Follows regulations for personal and work area sanitation and use of personal protective equipment.
