In-Home Aide Job Description Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care in the patient's home, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide support to patients with behavioral health needs and memory care requirements. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility or home setting. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and needs. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records and systems as required. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of anatomy, critical care practices, and patient service techniques. Experience Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of behavioral health practices and memory care techniques is beneficial. Familiarity with medical office procedures or inpatient care settings is an advantage. Understanding of anatomy knowledge related to patient care is desirable. Experience in critical care or operating room (OR) environments is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating empathy and respect for all patients.
