FULL TIME HOSPICE AIDE/CNA - GARLAND

We are currently searching for a Hospice Aide to join our team. The primary functions of this role include: -Visit patient homes and nursing facilities in Garland and surrounding areas. -To provide compassionate and professional personal care to include activities of daily living: feeding, bathing, dressing, and assisting with ambulation. The ideal candidate must: -Understand the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill. -Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be an excellent communicator. -Possess the desire and skill set necessary to work with patients at the end of life. -Demonstrate Hope Health Care's agency values - compassion, dignity, integrity, professionalism, balance and growth. Primary qualifications include: -Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current certification in Texas. -At least two years of experience in a hospice setting preferred. -Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written and be able to follow clinical directions.
