Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Job Description We are a growing company and have multiple roles open for a skilled CNA. You will provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents on a daily basis. To do well in this role you should have your state certified nursing assistant certification and a nursing degree from a recognized CNA program. CNA Responsibilities: Provide great patient care.Answer patient calls and determine how best to help them.Provide physical support for daily activities, personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.Turn and reposition bedridden patients.Ensure appropriate diets by reviewing patient dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.Obtain information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses.Measure and record urinary and fecal output and report changes to medical staff.Record vital signs, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.Detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.Remind patients to take their medications and supplements.Observe patient behavior including complaints or physical symptoms to nurses.Stay up to date on training, policies, and procedures. CNA Requirements: 2 years work experienceBasic Health and Tuberculosis ScreeningParticipate in Quality Improvement ProgramRequirement for job duties able to lift to 50lbsState Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.Current CPR (American Heart Association).Ability to think and work independently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. High School graduate or equivalent.Valid Driver’s License and Insurance Meeting recurring training requirements
