In Home Care Aide - MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those receiving care, particularly for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role requires an an active Washington State NAR, HCA, or CNA/NAC certification and a valid Washington State Driver's License. **MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK** Duties - Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. - Help with meal preparation and nutrition management, ensuring dietary needs are met. - Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. - Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities. - Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. - Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or care manager. - Uphold resident rights and ensure confidentiality in all interactions. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills: - Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, hospice care, or memory care is highly desirable. - Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial. - Understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients' needs. - A background in nursing home settings or related healthcare fields is a plus but not mandatory.
