We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to clients in the comfort in AFH home.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, with experience in long-term care, home care, and dementia care. This role requires a nurturing individual who can assist with daily living activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Support clients with mobility and transfers to promote independence. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document daily care activities and report any changes in client condition to family or healthcare professionals. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality. Requirements Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or as a nurse preferred. Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable. CPR certification is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families. Ability to prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs. Familiarity with social work principles is beneficial but not required. Must be compassionate, patient, and reliable in providing care.
