Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
Looking for PCA's in this Northwest area of Las Vegas. Everyday Miracles is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable caregivers who are interested in making a difference by providing in-home, non-medical care for the disabled and elderly. We are looking for individuals who have their OWN TRANSPORTATION, a flexible schedule, and can pass a background check. We provide an exclusive training program to ensure you are comfortable in your position. Pay is based upon experience. Below is a list of the following compliance requirements to work for our agency. Basic PCA Employment Requirements: Two-Step TB Test Results (current-within the last calendar year). X-ray may only be provided in the event the employee cannot use the usual methods of testing or has had a positive result. Positive results must accompany the x-ray or a physicians note stating why the patient cannot have the traditional method of testing. General Physical: stating that the PCA has no communicable diseases. (within the last 6 months) CPR Card (valid for 2 years) 16-Hours of PCA Basic Education -- See Human Resources for details of qualifying education. Some of this education is obtained by completing CPR training and attending Everyday Miracles New Hire Orientating. If employee can provide valid proof of licensed CNA training or equivalent, basic Education requirements may be waived.
