Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) near Pomona (NON-COVID)

CNA Needed for an Agency We are looking for a compassionate and dependable CNA to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services skilled nursing and memory care facilities in the Pomona area in accordance with an established care plan. This position is on-going and could be at various locations. CNA will report to the contracted facility for their shift and must have reliable transportation to and from the the facility. Must have current and valid CNA certification registered with the CA Department of Public Health. This position could be part or full time although hours are not guaranteed. Responsibilities Provide assistance for activities of daily living Perform tasks assigned by facility Remind clients to take prescribed medications Assist with clients personal care activities Maintain patients care records and document provided services Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Changing and turning patients Emptying bed pans Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Wound Care Skills and Requirements Proven working experience as a CNA in skilled nursing and memory care Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Proficiency in English Nursing and health care administration skills Caring and compassionate personality First Aid training Valid driver’s license Active TB test and Live Scan Licensed CNA certificate in CA Smartphone Recent COVID-19 test Know how to use gait belt and Hoyer Lift Trained on proper PPE use Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
