Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mount Vernon

Seeking PRN Certified Nursing Assistants to join our caring and compassionate family at Life Care Center of Mount Vernon! The ideal candidate would be passionate about resident care and happiness, capable of working multiple shifts, and is available on weekends. Shift openings include both swing shift (1400-2200) and night shift (2200-0600) with both shifts receiving a $1.00 shift differential on top of their normal hourly pay. Pay starts at $15.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience. We will also accept NAR applicants that have completed the CNA class. Come and grow with us! As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must be a graduate of a State-approved CNA program Must be currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment. One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
