Nursing Assistant ($1,000 sign-on bonus available )

Soundview Rehab has a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) opening for evening and NOC shifts. $1,000 sign-on bonus available for a full-time position! We offer a very competitive wage ($17.50 - $19.50 / hour, DOE), flexible schedules, and a supportive team environment. $2.00 / hour shift differential for NOC shift position. Our CNA's provide compassionate care for 8-10 subacute patients and love to serve our older adult population. Our 44 bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) specializes in short-term rehabilitation and 24-hour nursing care to help our patients recover from short-term illnesses / injuries in order to return to their home. The qualified candidate will possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good bedside manner, and genuine compassion for the care we are providing. CNA Responsibilities • Provide residents’ personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths / showers, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom • Provide activities of daily living (ADL's) by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals • Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information • Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to the responsible nurse
