Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Hi, We currently have Part time and "On Call" work if you are interested. Pay-rates at our facility start at $22.00 an hr. with your experience. We are an assisted living home based out in North Pole. Our on call program is for individuals who already work other jobs or may be looking to earn some revenue. The on call program IS NOT MANDATORY to come in when there are shift availabilities (on call shifts available are for dayshift 7-3pm, swing shift 3-11pm and night shift 11pm-7am). Shift hours range from 4, 6, or 8 hour shifts (depending on preference). There is an expectation though to work 1 to 2 shifts a month to stay familiar with resident needs and routines. One of the improvements we have at Eagles Wings is that we have meals delivered for the residents at the assisted living home. Trying to do caregiving and cooking at the same time can be stressful. Thankfully we are able to have meals delivered to the home at this time from a chef. At Eagles Wings we also try hard to keep the needs of the residents low so that we have time to care for their holistic cares. One of our goals is to establish an environment where we can meet residents holistic (physical, psychological, spiritual and social) needs in a relaxed and peaceful environment. Taking residents for a walk, playing cards, doing a puzzle or reading a news paper is encouraged for relational care. Join the team and experience making a positive impact in the lives of the residents at Eagles Wings. Applications are in the entryway at Eagles Wings 2 at 2793 Perimeter Drive North Pole AK 99705. You can also call Tim @ 385-3088 if interested. BENEFITS: We offer paid time off for FT employees and on the job training. We also have a family nurse practitioner that works with the home that provides med administration classes as needed for employees paid by the business.
