Open CNA positions for Full and Part Time job seekers Job Description • Provide residents’ personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with going to and from bathroom; helping with showers and baths. • Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with cooking and serving meals, feeding residents as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning residents; providing fresh water and snacks and refreshment between meals. • Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information. • Maintain residents’ comfort; answering to call beepers and requests; recording and reporting residents’ changing conditions to the provider, and social worker/guardian and family members when necessary. • Make sure residents are well cared for, and safe all the time • Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. • Follow house rules, operation procedures and policies • Protect confidential organization and resident information. • Work with hospitals, pharmacies and suppliers by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements and standards. • Enhance job skills through continued education; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations. Requirements: • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certificate. • First Aid and CPR training • Good verbal and written communication skills • Collaborative work attitude to work well with others • Good time management skills • Good organizational skills to effectively chart medication records and other paper works • Understanding of the AFH mission and vision to fit well with the AFH culture
