Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. This includes helping with mobility and ensuring patient safety.
Record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
Remind patients to take their medications as prescribed and assist with self-administered medications under supervision.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, helping them maintain a positive outlook and quality of life.
Perform light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and grocery shopping as needed to support the patient's daily living.
Effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and family members regarding the patient's needs and progress.
