Complete this course: https://educate.ahcancal.org/products/temporary-nurse-aide State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) STNA or CNA Summary: The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. STNA or CNA Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the resident Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel and the general public Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept Must be able to follow oral and written instructions Must possess the ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel Must possess the ability to display patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace Must be able to complete all other tasks as assigned by facility Administrator, Director of Nursing, Nursing Supervisor, or designee Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language Qualifications and Education Requirements of STNA or CNA: Must have completed a Certified Nursing Assistant Course Must have 1 year of healthcare experience, LTC experience preferred Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education STNA or CNA Benefits Available: Vaccination Pay Surplus (an ADDITIONAL $4.50 added to hourly wage for vaccinated staff) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Available After 30 days of employment DailyPay Available (Access to UP TO 80% of pay BEFORE pay day!)
