JOB DESCRIPTION Provide routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessment and care plan, and as directed by supervisors. You are delegated administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties which include, but are not limited to: - Accurate and timely charting, reporting changes of condition - Admission, transfer, and discharge preparation - Ensuring residents are comfortable and cared for - Communicate with nurses and identify problem areas/service improvement opportunities - Assist residents with ADL’s, change bed linens and make beds for residents - Serve food trays, record fluid intake and meal consumption. Assist residents with eating, as needed - Attend all in-service and training meetings - Perform necessary safety and infection control measures, such as washing hands, using PPE, etc - Adhere to protocol, policy, and regulation at all times EDUCATION High School Diploma, or equivalent EXPERIENCE Hold a valid CNA license at the time of employment in accordance with state laws SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language - Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action - Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public - Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel - Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents - Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices - Must be able to relay information concerning resident’s condition - Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace - Must be able to perform duties with or without the aid of mechanical devices and within reasonable expectation BENEFITS Medical, dental, 401k HOW TO APPLY Through job posting In person at 678 Third St. Woodland, CA. 95695 Call (530) 662-9643, ext. 423.
