Home Care Aide PT - 8 hrs weekly/$28.00 hourly rate (WEEKEND SHIFT)

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance in their homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients maintain their independence while receiving the care they deserve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment. Support clients with mobility challenges using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function, especially for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia-related conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual client needs. Skills Proficiency in First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. . HCA California Registr Required Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior promptly. Knowledge of home & community care practices, including hospice care and long-term care experience. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy. Competence in meal preparation, cooking, and adhering to dietary requirements for clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
