LVN Runner

We are a thriving hospice agency currently seeking part-time and full-time LVNs for after-hour/weekend coverage in the Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley area. The LVN Runner provides nursing care to hospice patients and families in their private home, Assisted Living Facility, or Skilled Nursing Facility under the supervision of a RN Case Manager. Requirements : * LVN with current licensure to practice * 1 year professional experience a must, preferable hospice experience. * Self directed and able to work with minimal supervision * Excellent coordination and communication skills Requirements: Have access to a computer/internet. Must be conscientious with our clients, their families, and their caregivers. Demonstrates the ability to assess and respond to the needs of the patients and families in varied settings. Must be able to provide: Professional license in California and clinical school diploma. Major Responsibilities: Assessing and evaluating patient status, writing comprehensive and submitting accurate clinical notes via electronic charting. Communicating with office staff/MD via email or phone. Typical Shift: On 1 week, off 1 week. *Tues* 5pm - 8am, *Wed *5pm-8am, *Thurs* 5pm-8am, *Fri* 5pm - *Mon* 8am, *Mon* 5pm-8am
