Home Care Aide (HCA) Job Description
As a Home Care Aide at Angel House LLC, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with daily living activities, promoting their well-being and independence. You will provide personalized care based on each client’s unique needs and preferences. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their mental and emotional well-being. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client care and progress. Document care activities and report any changes in client conditions to the supervisor. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or a related field preferred but not required. Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is a plus. Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and transfer clients safely.
