Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in our Adult Family Home. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with disabilities or memory care needs. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Duties
Provide direct support to clients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
Observe and report on patient behavior and health status, ensuring accurate documentation of care provided.
Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, promoting a healthy environment.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their mental and emotional well-being.
Implement memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive decline.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Requirements
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is preferred.
Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
Previous experience in nursing or direct support roles is a plus.
A compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following established care plans.
