Position Title: Home Health Aide (HHA)
Job Summary
A Home Health Aide provides personal care and supportive services to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life. The HHA assists with daily living activities, monitors clients' well-being, and reports changes in condition to the supervising nurse or agency.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Help clients with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary requirements.
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing living areas.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
Monitor and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, or mental condition.
Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities when required.
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client observations.
Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Relevant Certification
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach to care.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Work Environment
Home Health Aides work primarily in clients' homes and may be required to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
