Verona Hospice, Inc. is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan. Responsibilities: Assist patients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), including eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, brief changes, repositioning, activities, and all personal care and grooming Make beds, change linens and keep patient rooms/areas organized and tidy Ability to show genuine kindness and respect to our patients and always ensure their dignity and privacy Demonstrate proper patient lifting and transferring skills Maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate ability to work well within a team and independently Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to demonstrate strong time management skills Ability to follow directions from RN Case Managers and Supervisors Qualifications: Current and valid California Certified Home Health Aide Certificate (CHHA) Current CPR certification Valid driver’s license and auto insurance Current TB test and physical Ability to pass a background check and reference check
