Description:
We are looking for a caring, responsible, and dependable HHA to support a young woman with significant developmental, behavioral, and communication deficits. This role focuses on assistance and companionship, while respecting her and promoting quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities
Support daily routines while encouraging autonomy
Drive to appointments or outings as needed
Communicate clearly with the family and agency
Requirements:
75 hours HHA certificate of completition
Must be available to work weekends as needed
20+ hours per week
Valid Driver’s License
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Comfortable working in a (English) household
Willingness to complete additional mandatory training (provided free by our agency)
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
