Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) at Skyline Health & Wellness Center located in Los Angeles, CA. As a key member of our care center, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN) will provide basic medical assistance, administer medications, maintain resident records, and assist in patient care planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. Qualifications A current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in California Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) upon hire At least six months of experience in long term care or residential care preferred Must have knowledge of basic nursing principles and clinical skills to provide patient care effectively and efficiently, including assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation Must have ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with residents, families, and staff members. Ability to read and understand written instructions and document care given Ability to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple activities effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to provide direct patient care which may include lifting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping on a regular basis Ability to adapt to changes in duties and schedules to meet the needs of the patients and the facility Effective problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to assess and evaluate situations in patient care Compensation: Range between $38-42 based on experience Call (323)665-1185 and ask for Kori, Administrator.
