Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Pediatric Shift Care

Multiple Locations Across California Pay: $35–$40 per hour Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Shifts/Full-Time Job Description We are seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide one-on-one pediatric shift care in home settings across multiple areas in California. This role is ideal for LVNs who enjoy building meaningful relationships with patients and families while maintaining control over their own schedules. LVNs will work closely with families and care teams to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care tailored to each child’s needs. Scheduling is flexible, and nurses coordinate directly with families to create shifts that work for everyone. Available Locations Include (but are not limited to): Hayward Oakland Fremont Fresno Corning Madera (Additional California locations available) Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the home Perform skilled nursing tasks as ordered and within scope of practice Coordinate care and scheduling with families and agency staff Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly Maintain accurate and timely documentation Support a safe, nurturing environment for pediatric patients Requirements Active, unencumbered California LVN license Minimum of 1 year nursing experience Active driver’s license and current car insurance Ability to pass a physical examination Proof of negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or Chest X-Ray) Must be completed within 2 weeks of hire OR Proof of completion within the last 6 months Preferred Qualifications Pediatric nursing experience Experience with: Enteral nutrition (G-tubes/NG tubes) Tracheostomy care Strong communication and family-centered care skills Why Join Us?
