Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
The Candidate should be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record. They should be able to past a Criminal Background Check and also be able to obtain a Chauffeurs License. The Candidate will be responsible for transporting individuals to and from ACP at the designated time. Routine duties also include but are not limited to assisting individuals with disabilities to enhance their personal growth and development by assisting them with training goals & objectives, grooming & hygiene needs, socialization skills, individual and group leisure and recreational skills, community outings, etc. The Candidate must possess good work ethnics through regular attendance and completion of assigned duties in a timely and professional manner. The Candidate must be able to get along well with others and have good communication skills.
