Direct Support Professional

We are looking for mature team players that would like to make a difference in a person's life. Part Time, Work from home, Flexible hours. You must own a computer with Excel and Word programs and have a secure internet access and email address. You need to be organized and a self-starter that doesn't require day to day oversight. Prior experience working with adults that have intellectual disabilities (IDD) preferred. Minimum requirements are a High School diploma or GED. $15/hr. paid training. The position involves assisting high-functioning adults with IDD to learn basic ADL skills that may involve learning to cook, clean, budget, meal and menu plan and grocery shop, depending on each client's goals. You may also need to schedule, transport and attend your client's medical appointments. You will need to complete weekly billing/contact notes, on-line. You will use your own care and must carry a company required amount of car insurance at $100,000, $300,000, $100,000.
