Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
The provider agency is currently searching for Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and Direct Service Worker's (DSW) to work with individuals in various areas such as: Orleans and St. Bernard parishes. The agency is seeking for professional dependable staff who is honest and trustworthy. The staff must be able to treat the individuals with dignity and respect; while providing care with a friendly and compassionate concern. Job description consist of activities of daily living such as, bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing, ambulation, transferring, toileting, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, laundry and transporting to medical appointments for some individuals. Required: Must pass Criminal Background Must have valid Drivers License Must have valid Social Security Card Must have proof of Insurance Must have valid Inspection Sticker Education: Must have High School Diploma or GED Skills: PCA - 1 year experience DSW - 1 year experience
