Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
A CNA/DSW/PCA working for Superior Options of LA, Inc. will be assigned a client served by the agency. The duties required will be determined by the client assigned to client’s service plan. General duties for an employee includes, maintaining and enhancing the well-being, and health of the client. The employee will also be required to provide physical support, if required, to the individual client. It is the employee’s duty to implement the client’s individual service plan as trained. The employee is required to use the LASRS electronic time sheet system for each shift using the employee’s personal mobile device. Along with the electronic time sheets, daily progress notes describing what services were given and how the services were implemented for the client. If the client requires transportation and the employee agrees to transport, then the transportation provided must be delivered as described in the client’s service plan, for example: community outings, doctor appointments, and any other community-based locations as described for the client. The employee will receive trainings throughout the year to further develop the employee's knowledge of this area. There are a variety of shifts available.
