Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including medical-surgical units, critical care transport, and geriatrics. Your expertise in infection control, tube feeding, and family planning will be invaluable in delivering comprehensive care. Responsibilities Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans accordingly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies. Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks and other medical documentation systems. Provide support for cardiac catheterization procedures and critical care transport as needed. Uphold infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Assist with coding for medical procedures when necessary. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong clinical skills in areas such as medical-surgical nursing, geriatrics, and critical care transport. Experience with infection control practices is preferred. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Knowledge of tube feeding techniques and family planning methods is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
