Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Looking for a part-time (M,W,F, 9:30am-4:30pm, days can be flexible) Registered Nurse (RN) for my Small Type B Assisted Living Facility. We are a residential care home licensed for 15 beds max. License must be current and experience working with the elderly is a must. Responsibilities to include; MARS set-up(monthly and as needed), Med Set-up and check meds for accuracy upon delivery every two weeks), Staff med training upon hire and annually, Staff TB Screens upon hire and annually, bi-monthly CEU's for staff, Weekly Nurses Notes, Resident Assessments and POC's (initial, annually and as needed), Weekly vitals & assess each resident for changes if any and/or new ailments, initiate Home Health and/or Hospice if needed, weekly communications with each Residents Responsible Party, Ongoing communication with Residents Doctor, responsible party, and/or HH/Hospice to keep continuity of care, set up care plan meetings, Document Med Errors and Incident reports if any and contact residents responsible party immediately for either, Oversee each residents care, Assist and Educate staff on proper transfers, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, all ADL's, special diets, wound care, etc., Request order's for new meds and document in residents chart and update MAR, Narcotic Count weekly and continually check MARS for any potential med errors and accuracy.
