Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Education and Experience Required: Licensed Registered Nurse. Maintains a current/unencumbered RN license in the state of Georgia. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in long term care, community based care or assisted living. Prior experience and training working with the disabled and/or youth population and their families faced with emotional and behavioral challenges. Minimum Physical Requirements: Must be able to go up and down stairs; bend and lift; and perform physical restraints. Position Summary: This position supports Lillie’s Healthcare Home Health Agency. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for maintaining quality of care throughout the program, promoting the health and wellbeing of each client, and reporting observed changes in client condition or health to management team. Responsibilities: 1. Ensures quality client care is consistently delivered in accordance with all local, state and federal guidelines. 2. Provide oversight of any medication management program and identify any risks/issues/concerns with program to promote client safety in the medication use process. Notify management team of any identified risks/issues/concerns. 3. Collaborates and partners with management and direct care workers to promote quality care and independence for our clients. 4. Perform and document client admission and client resident assessments. 5. Maintain, through communication and documentation, positive and collaborative relationships and continuity with other care providers. 6. Ensures compliance, efficiency and team’s understanding of policies and procedures. 7. Create new policies and update existing policies to help improve the level of care for each client. 8. Ensure that all client care plans have the documentation necessary to provide the proper type of care. 9. Participate in scheduled On-Call duties as needed. 10. Additional duties as assigned.
