PediaLife Home Health is seeking to hire Pediatric Private Duty Nurses in the Fort Worth, Texas area. Our agency is in need of a Registered Nurse (RN) for our pediatric patients. Job Overview: In this role, the RN will: Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel Patient assessments Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies Coordination of care Health promotion and teaching Training of family members Collaborate with Clinical Supervisor concerning patients’ status or needs We are looking for individuals who are compassionate and comfortable working within patient's homes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital when dealing with and educating patients and their families. Willingness to work a flexible schedule is a must. Qualified candidates will possess: A current, unrestricted Texas State license as aRegistered Nurse (RN) A current Texas driver license Proof of current CPR Reliable transportation and proof of current and valid auto liability insurance The ability to lift patients when applicable Quick decision-making skills Spanish speaking skills, a plus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
